Do You Ride the Bus???

Many of you might be completely unaware that Henderson County offers bus transit service via Apple Country Transit’s Blue Line route. From Hendersonville, the route serves to link up in Fletcher on Airport Road with the City of Asheville transit system.

Currently, funding for the blue line route is threatened due to the loss of a key grant that has supported the route for the last few years. As the various affected agencies try to determine alternative funding sources for the route, the Fletcher Town Council is seeking to determine just how many people in Fletcher actually take the bus.
